EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OILS
In order for an olive oil to be graded as an "Extra Virgin", it needs to meet the standard of the International Olive Council (IOC), a board governing everything olive related, located in Spain. You will always find the chemistry of each of our EVOO listed in the descriptions, where you will find the Polyphenols , Fruitiness score, Acidity, and other markers that help to identify the quality of the EVOO.
Two Northern EVOOs are in, Spanish Picual and Italian Coratina. The rest of the Northern Hemisphere (Spain and Italy) extra virgin olive oils are expected to arrive on/after March 14, 2024. We are not expecting any Greek EVOOs this year but will be getting a Koroneiki variety olive oil from Spain that will be comparable. Links for purchase will be added after arrival of oils.
Price increase in effect for this new batch of oils due to high temperature causing low yields leading to market price increase based on low supply but high demand.
